Welcoming a New Zealand Customer to Aarons Leather
It was a pleasure to welcome a customer from New Zealand to Aarons Leather this October. His visit focused on leather phone cases, and we spent time together reviewing samples and visiting the workshop. Meeting in person gave us a chance to introduce our products and get to know one another.
Talking phone cases, face to face
He came to us from IceTronics, a New Zealand business supplying electronics kits for schools, including Bluetooth speaker kits. Its range also includes wireless chargers and charging cables. We welcomed the chance to share our own side of the product business: leather phone cases and the work that goes into making them.
We went through samples and colour references together, with time to talk about the products in person. We want these meetings to be a two-way conversation. As well as introducing what we make, we want to hear what a customer has in mind and where they would like to take a product idea.
Sharing our work, inside the factory
We also showed him around the workshop, where he looked at a case component and saw production work in progress. Taking a customer into the working areas gives us another way to introduce ourselves, through the people and everyday work behind our products.

We value the chance to share our work in person and take the time to get to know each other.

To our visitor from New Zealand: thank you for making the trip to meet us and for taking an interest in our work. We hope to keep the conversation going and explore what might be possible together.
If you are also exploring a leather phone-case idea, we would be glad to hear from you. Tell us about the styles and phone models you have in mind, and we can start a conversation from there.
