On September 17, 2026, our owner attended a trade show in São Paulo to discuss samples face to face. We went because our business had been seeing growing interest from Brazil. Two observations stood out in the conversations at our display: bright colors drew attention, and buyers asked more about PU.

Key takeaways from our São Paulo visit

  • A personal visit: our owner met buyers with samples available to examine and discuss.
  • Color interest: brightly colored products attracted attention at our display.
  • Material questions: we received more inquiries about PU during the exhibition conversations.

Why did we go to São Paulo?

Growing interest from Brazil in our own business was the reason for making the trip. Our owner went personally to meet buyers, see their reactions to the samples and hear what interested them. This was a chance to move beyond exchanging product pictures.

At the show, the display included phone cases, wallet-style accessories and small carrying items in different colors and constructions. Visitors could look at the display wall and discuss a sample in hand. The two photographs here record those moments of sample viewing and conversation.

Having the products in front of us gave the discussions a shared reference. A photograph records the appearance, but the exact material and specifications of any selected item still need to be confirmed separately.

What stood out in the conversations?

Color and material were two separate themes in the conversations at this display. These observations concern the people we met at this event; they are not a claim about every buyer in Brazil.

Bright colors attracted attention

Buyers showed particular interest in brightly colored products. For us, it raises a question worth exploring: how could a future sample selection make different color directions easier to compare?

There were more questions about PU

We noticed more questions and requests concerning PU, alongside discussion of the products' appearance. We came home wanting to understand those preferences more clearly: which finish and construction does a buyer have in mind, beyond simply “PU or leather?”

What are we taking away from the visit?

The trip left us with ideas to consider for future samples. A wider selection of bright colors and clearer ways to discuss PU alongside leather are directions worth thinking about.

  • Compare color directions: consider how a sample selection could make different colors easier to discuss.
  • Clarify the material separately: interest in bright colors does not tell us a buyer's preferred material.
  • Discuss the intended construction: a request for PU does not define a finished specification.

What we took home was a more specific set of questions, not a ready-made specification. The value of going in person was hearing these preferences with samples available to discuss.

If you met us in São Paulo, a photograph of the sample can help reconnect the conversation. If you were not at the show, you can still share the product, color and material direction you are considering.

Tell Aarons Leather which sample or product direction interests you. We can discuss the details that need to be clarified for your project.
