Wholesale Leather Wallet Phone Cases: Folio Options and OEM Planning

For wholesale wallet phone cases, compare closure, card layout, phone fit and sample evidence before choosing a material claim or sales channel. Aarons Leather currently has two public magnetic folio references. A slim card-slot version is a development direction to specify, rather than a linked public product. Approve the final construction on a physical sample.

This guide separates what the current product pages show from what a buyer still needs to define. A product name or illustration does not establish card capacity, magnet performance, device compatibility or the composition of a particular leather lot.

Which wallet phone case options can buyers compare?

Two magnetic folio cases are public product references: the top-grain leather magnetic folio wallet phone case and the genuine leather magnetic folio wallet phone case. A slim card-slot case may be discussed as a separate design brief, but it should not be treated as an available catalogue item without a confirmed product and sample.

Public references and development direction for a wallet phone case brief
Option and status Confirm before approval
Top-grain magnetic folio. Public product reference; top-grain is the material label on its page. Target phone model, closure and magnet layout, card-slot arrangement, closed thickness, shell attachment, leather specification and logo placement.
Genuine leather magnetic folio. Public product reference; genuine leather is the material label on its page. The same construction points, plus the exact material specification behind the label for the proposed order.
Slim card-slot case. Development direction, not a currently linked public product in this guide. Whether a back-cover format or another structure is intended, card count and access, protection targets, device fit and a new physical sample.

The two public folios offer different material descriptions, not a verified quality ranking. The right choice depends on the buyer's written requirements and the approved sample. The slim direction changes the structure as well, so it needs its own specification instead of inheriting claims from either folio.

How should the two public folio references be reviewed?

Start with the phone model and intended use. The top-grain folio page is a starting reference for a custom project, and the genuine leather folio page is another; neither product title alone confirms the fit of a buyer's target device or the final card layout. Request samples made to the proposed device and brief.

  • Closure and magnets. Specify the intended closing behaviour and check the chosen magnet layout with the cards and device arrangement allowed by the device and accessory manufacturers. Do not infer magnet strength or charging compatibility from the word “magnetic.”
  • Card storage. State the number, orientation and access method of card slots. Test the proposed card load in the sample and check whether it changes closure, thickness or handling.
  • Device fit. Check the camera opening, ports, buttons, inner-shell attachment and any specified protective features on the exact phone model. A generic model-family name is insufficient for tooling approval.
  • Branding and packaging. Approve logo method, artwork size and placement together with lining, edge finish and the packaging format for the sales channel.

When does a slim card-slot direction make sense?

A buyer may prefer a card-carrying back cover or another lower-profile construction instead of a closing folio. This is a development direction, not a promise that a particular slim SKU is publicly available. Include the target device, allowable thickness, card count, card retention, access direction and protection requirements in the brief. Compare the resulting sample with the folio references only after those details are agreed.

A slim shape does not, by itself, prove lower weight, better comfort or a fixed card capacity. Those outcomes depend on materials, shell, card load and construction. If the channel needs wireless charging or a magnetic accessory, follow the phone and accessory manufacturers' instructions and test only the intended, permitted arrangement on the physical sample.

What does a leather label establish?

The public references use “top-grain leather” and “genuine leather” as product-page material descriptions. These names are not a substitute for the actual leather specification, finish, backing and lot evidence for a proposed order. Do not use a generic cross-section illustration to identify the material in either finished case.

Use the Material Lab to compare available surfaces and request a physical sample of the proposed material. Record the agreed material description, colour, thickness range and finish in the brief. For terminology, the full-grain versus top-grain guide provides background; approval still rests on the selected material and product sample.

What should be checked on the physical sample?

Approve the complete case rather than only a leather swatch or logo proof. A practical review sequence is:

  1. Confirm the exact phone model, its fit, openings and shell attachment.
  2. Load the proposed number of cards, then inspect access, retention, closed thickness and closure behaviour.
  3. Check stitching, edge finish, lining, fold behaviour and the junction between leather and shell.
  4. Review the material specification and colour against the agreed reference, not a generic grade chart.
  5. Approve logo artwork, position and method on the chosen construction.
  6. Check the packaging, label and protective insert used for the intended delivery channel.

What are the standard MOQ and production lead time?

For Aarons Leather custom products, the standard minimum order is 100 pieces per design. The standard production lead time is 15–30 business days after the sample and order details are approved. Confirm price, sample scope, any tooling, packaging and shipment terms in the project quotation. The standard figures do not replace a written schedule for a particular order.

What should go into the first OEM or wholesale inquiry?

Send the intended product direction, target phone model, sales channel and estimated quantity. Add the material and colour reference, card-slot layout, closure requirements, logo artwork, packaging needs and target timing. If a slim card-slot structure is desired, mark it as a new development request so the factory can assess construction and sampling separately.

The leather goods RFQ checklist helps organize the brief. For device-fit and sampling checkpoints, see custom leather phone case manufacturing. When the requirements are ready, contact the factory team for a sample and quotation review.

Frequently asked questions

Can a folio's card layout and logo be customized?

They can be reviewed as part of an OEM/ODM brief, but the available combination depends on the chosen construction. Specify card count, access direction, artwork and placement, then approve the combined sample before bulk production.

Does a magnetic folio automatically support wireless charging?

No compatibility is established by the product name alone. Check the phone and charging accessory manufacturers' guidance, then test the intended case and permitted card arrangement. Keep any compatibility claim out of the sales copy until the relevant configuration has been verified.
