Meeting buyers in São Paulo

Our owner joined the exhibition to meet buyers in person and hear what they wanted from our products.

Why we went to Brazil

We had been seeing more demand from Brazil for the kinds of products we make. We wanted to spend time in the market and understand those needs through direct conversations with buyers.

Going in person let us put the products in front of people, hear their questions and see which colours and materials caught their attention.

Samples we took to the stand

Phone cases, wallets and small accessories, in a range of colours and styles. The display wall and sample table gave visitors room to browse, compare products and talk through the details with us.

Brighter colours drew attention

One thing we noticed at our stand was the interest in brighter colours. These products attracted attention during our conversations with visitors.

It is a useful reminder for sample planning: the colour selection deserves attention alongside the shape and construction of a product.

Buyers asked more about PU

PU options also came up more often in our booth conversations. Alongside the interest in brighter colours, this gave us a material direction worth exploring.

When discussing a new product with buyers from this market, we want to ask about PU requirements early, then work through the material and colour choices together.

What we brought back

Two points stood out: give brighter colour options more attention, and discuss PU requirements earlier. These are observations from the visitors we met in São Paulo, and ideas to carry into future sample planning.

The trip helped us understand what to ask about when the next brief arrives.
